Do I have to have submit professional photos?
No, but it helps. However, there are many photographers that are willing to do TFP (Time for
Prints) to develop their portfolio. This is a great way to get decent photos to start out with and
not spend a fortune.
For models, it is also recommended that they send snapshots in addition to their
photos/compcard. Snapshots can be taken with a regular or disposable camera and developed
prior to submitting. You should wear no makeup or jewelry, no posing, and take the pictures
in front of a plain background. Snapshots should consist of the following:
Shoulders up Waist up
1. Face forward no smile 1. Face forward no smile
2. Face forward w/ smile 2. Face forward w/ smile
3. Left and Right profile 3. Left and Right profile
4. Hair in ponytail 4. Left and Right profile
5. Hair down 5. Hair down
