What is the difference between an agent and a manager?

Think of an agent as "reactive".  They react/respond to the various jobs and bookings that are
presented to them.  A manager is "proactive", meaning they take the initiative to search for and
create opportunities for their clients, as well as maintain all aspects of their client's career.  
When the agent and manager are both working together, the potential for success is maximized.
